Drum roll, please! It is the end of the year so we take a moment to pour over the fabulous photos from the past wedding season and we make the (super hard) choice of which bridal bouquets stood out for us.

We love to work on flowers and decorations for weddings also because our couples have really great ideas. It is wonderful how we can mix our experience, our florist’s creativity and our couples’ new and fun input to personalize every single wedding making them all so special. For years bouquets were mostly all white with very little greenery. Brides felt the need to stay with clean, classic lines. 2016 was still all about blush and ivory but we were able to create some super colorful bouquets too.

So here are our top 7  bouquet picks that our beautiful brides carried down the aisle this past season. Some are joyful, some Tuscan country-chic, some romantic, some new trend setters…but all, in our opinion, are stunning!

MOST POPULAR

The gorgeous peony and rose bouquet Veronica requested last June was one that every other bride having her wedding outside the peony season wished they could have had. Peony and David Austin roses are the most popular choices and quite honestly, when we look at this bouquet, we just swoon at the glamour of it. (photo by Rossini Photography)

CLASSIC WITH A TWIST

Erica’s bouquet had a classic round, tight shape. Several different types of rose type and size were used in ivory and very pale blush. The interesting greenery though brought this classic bouquet right into a new, young trend that started in 2016. (Photo by Jules)

MOST TUSCAN

Johanna’s bridal bouquet was our happiest one! It looked freshly picked. Mini sunflowers, freesia, daisies and cornflowers popped from the bouquet and filled the whole wedding making it like a true Tuscan “festa” (photo by Carlo Carletti & Associates)

MOST ARTISTIC

Kallie’s bouquet was inspired by her love for art.  The whole wedding had props in the art theme: paint brushes, paint cans, painter’s palettes and tiny canvas for guests to write their well-wishes on. But it was this big, bushy, colorful bouquet that stole the scene against her palest of baby blue wedding gown. (photo by Carlo Carletti & Associates)

MOST COUNTRY-CHIC

Our Aussie bride brought a peachy tint to her country-chic wedding. Our florist had a wonderful time mixing romantic David Austin roses with messy, natural country greenery for her perfectly shaped bouquet. (photo by Photographers&Partners)

MOST FASHIONABLE

Fashionable trend-setting bouquet

We spoke of the new trend of big, interesting greenery and horizontal shapes that are to come in 2017. Well, this bouquet we had made for Jennifer was perhaps our favorite. Their was a classy vintage feel to the whole wedding.  We got to use great colors and mixes of flowers and fruit: kumquats!  Here is her trend-setting bouquet. (photo by Photographers&Partners)

HAPPIEST

yellow wedding bouquet

And to complete our list we added a new category: The happiest bouquet! Lovely Roshni broke away from tradition and decided to wear yellow for her wedding so her bouquet had to be a fun mix of ivory and yellow to accent the gown. She and her groom filled the gardens with ivory and yellow so everyone was smiling from start to finish on that glorious May day. (photo by Carlo Carletti & Associates)

It was a tough job to choose these favorites but we had a ball doing it. We hope they have made you smile and possibly inspired you as well.
